It’s Been One Year Since a Heartbroken Cat Cried at the Grave of His Owner

A sweet kitty was unable to leave her owner’s side since she adored her. Although the cat’s owner sadly passed away, the kitten has yet to visit her old lady’s cemetery. Keli Keningau Prayitno, 28, a passer-by, attempted to adopt the cat but was unsuccessful; the cat returned to her owner’s grave the next day as usual, nuzzling the small blue headstone. The cat, amazingly, walks to her previous house every day, where she is fed by the elderly lady’s children, and then returns to the grave.

Despite being fed and watered by passers-by, the cat refuses to leave the cemetery, preferring to roll in the dirt and sleep in the same spot every night. “She meows and sleeps there, demonstrating how attached animals are to their owners.” Keli remarked. And who says cats don’t care about their owners?

The cat has spent a year at the tomb.
